Blind Pass

Blind Pass is a area of beach on either side of the small bridge that connect Sanibel & Captive Islands. There are small-metered parking lots on either side of the bridge. Typically you will find most species of Egrets & Herons here along with various shorebirds depending on the time of year. The Capitive side of the bridge is generally more productive. During season this is a very busy area, so it is advised to arrive early.

Directions: Once on Sanibel Island follow Sanibel – Captiva Road (the islands main road) towards Captive. You will come to a very small bridge with parking lots on either side. This is Blind Pass.
